Learning Objectives

The PRINCE2 Version 7 Foundation and Practitioner certification levels provide you with an in-depth understanding of the PRINCE2 method and how to apply it to your projects.
This online course is a combination of computer-based training using eLearning, references to the PRINCE2 manual and other supporting documents, and completion of practical tasks and mock exams. Depending on your availability, you will need between 2 weeks and 6 months to complete this e-learning.

A 30 hours online PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner level training to:

• Become familiar with the principles, themes and products of PRINCE2, how they apply throughout the project and how they interact
• Learn how PRINCE2 will enable you to start, control and close projects effectively
• Understand how to deliver projects on time, on budget and with the expected functionality and quality
• Gain sufficient understanding on how to apply and tailor PRINCE2 in a range of different project environments and scenarios

You will also be prepared, through quizzes and mock exams, to take your PeopleCert PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner online exams.

About the Exams

PRINCE2® 7 Foundation Exam

• Duration 60 minutes (+ 25% extra time or 15 minutes for non-native English speakers)
• Closed-book exam
• 60 questions
• 36/60 or 60% required to pass 
• Online exam with remote supervision, take your exam at the date and time of your choice
• This exam voucher includes the digital version of the PRINCE2 Official Guidance (eBook). 

PRINCE2® 7 Practitioner Exam

• Duration: 2 ½ hours (150 minutes) + 25% extra time for non-native English speakers
• Open book exam, official PRINCE2 Guidance/Manual only
• 70 questions
• 42/70 or 60% required to pass 
• Online exam with remote supervision, take your exam at the date and time of your choice

When you are ready to take your exam(s), you can use your exam vouchers and choose a date and time to take your exams online with remote proctoring. You will receive 2 separate exam vouchers for Foundation and Practitioner, allowing you to take the exams individually. Exam vouchers are valid for one year. Please note that you will need to carefully read the instructions provided by PeopleCert before taking the exam.

Materials and Documentation

• Unlimited access to the PRINCE2 v7 Foundation and Practitioner eLearning courses, provided for 9 months. The browser-based online software allows you to access the eLearning 24/7 from any location in the world, using a variety of devices.
• Two sample exams per certification level are included in the course, allowing you to prepare for the PRINCE2 7 Foundation exam.
• This comprehensive training programme does not require the purchase of additional books or manuals; the content is sufficient to prepare and pass the exam. You can print the course notes if you wish.
