Course Outline

Our MSP Foundation 5^th Edition is a 2-day course. There will be a detailed introduction to present an overview of the method and to prepare participants for the information which then follows. There will then be individual topics, each focused on the themes and processes of MSP®.  For each topic, there will first be a presentation to identify the major and most important aspects of that element, followed by simple but worthwhile exercises as well as quizzes.

Students will be prepared to successfully take the MSP Foundation 5th Edition exam.

The course is of considerable value to most working in business, particularly to anyone in an organization where change is taking place. It is designed for those that are interested in learning how to manage multiple projects and programmes successfully.

Prerequisites

There are no formal prerequisites for attending this course. However, participants should ideally have some previous project and/or programme management experience to benefit from this course.

The MSP Foundation Certificate is a prerequisite for those wishing to achieve the MSP Practitioner qualification.

About the Exam

The MSP Foundation 5^th Edition Examination is intended to assess whether the candidate can demonstrate sufficient recall and understanding of the MSP programme management framework (as described in the syllabus) to be awarded the MSP Foundation qualification.

The MSP® Foundation exam is delivered as an online proctored exam voucher, valid one year.

The first day of the course, you will receive your exam voucher. You will then be invited to create your PeopleCert account to have access to your eBook (see training materials) and to schedule your exam, at a date and time of your choice.

The Take2 option (second chance for the exam) is always included in the fee of our open classes.

• 60 multiple choice exam questions
• 36 marks required to pass or 60%
• 60 minutes’ duration
• Closed book
